Child forensic interviews are conducted to avoid multiple interviews. Trained interviews speak with children while investigators watch from another room. Interviews are developmentally and culturally sensitive, unbiased, fact-finding, and legally sound.
The Eddy Co. and Lea Co. Child Abuse Multidisciplinary Teams are composed of representatives from the District Attorney's Office, local and state Law Enforcement agencies, CYFD, Child Forensic Interviewers, Medical personnel, Mental Health professionals, and Victim Advocates.
