The Cavern City Child Advocacy Center, a 501c3 non-profit agency headquartered in Carlsbad, is very excited to announce the new extension program of the Foundry Home. The Foundry Home is a temporary shelter for runaway and homeless youth 12 to 17 years of age. The Foundry Home will provide not only a safe and secure space for the youth of our community, but will also provide programs to help the youth work towards completing education and career exploration. The youth residing at the Foundry Home will benefit from ongoing case management and access to individual and family counseling.
It is the goal of the Cavern City Child Advocacy Center to have the doors open of the Foundry Home by the holidays. To make this dream a reality, we are reaching out to community members like you to help us make this happen! We are looking for monetary donations to furnish the rooms and provide for individual hygiene and school supply items for each youth that turns to the Foundry Home for support. This is an exciting time to be involved in the start-up of a facility that will change the lives of the youth in our own communities.
